# Who can apply for a business loan in the UAE?

Any business or a self-employed individual (both residents of the UAE and expatriates) who meets the eligibility criteria can apply for a business loan in the United Arab Emirates. Generally, individuals who are at least 21 years old and have a registered business operating for 1-2 years can qualify for the loan. For business, a valid trade license and a minimum annual turnover of AED 1 million is required to be eligible.
