# What types of properties qualify for LRD in the UAE?

In the UAE, the following types of qualify for Lease Rental Discounting—

- Residential properties, especially in areas where freehold ownership is restricted for certain nationalities. 
- Commercial properties, including office spaces, retail outlets, shopping malls, warehouses, and other commercial properties. 
- Properties purchased on a freehold basis (ownership of both the land and the building). 
- Leasehold properties 
- Properties incorporated in Free Zones.
